Logan

Conversation this morning with Logan: Me: Logan, what do you want for lunch? Logan: Go-gurt Me: You had yogurt for breakfast. Logan: Two Me: You want two yogurts? Logan: Mm-hmm. Be-bee one. Me: You want yogurt in the baby cup? Logan: Oh-kay!! (He likes to use a single-serve yogurt cups. So, I scoop out yogurt from the big cup to the small one to keep him happy. He gets that dorkiness from his father.)

"My Boys"

When I carry both of them at the same time I say, "Ohh, my boys." I noticed I did it (almost every time) when I hadn't said it, and Logan said it instead! Last time we went to the dollar store I bought a "grow" lizard. You know, you put it in water and it grows. Well Logan grew quite attached to that toy that wasn't even a real toy! He carried it everywhere. It had to even sign a birthday card like Logan. Everything he did, the lizard had to do. I didn't really like him playing with it because when it got wet, it got slimy. The next time we went to Walmart I found another toy lizard that looked very similar to his other one. So, when we got home I threw his old one on the top bunk to temporarily hide it. Well, I forgot about it and he found it. Now he knows there are two lizards and there's no getting rid of the old one without breaking his heart. Anyways... when he carries the both, (one in each arm, against his chest) he says, "My boys." :) Three of Logan's fish suddenly died, so Andrew threw the three living fish back in the pond. He left the bodies of the dead ones in the tank... laying on the rocks... which sounds gross, but I'm glad he did. Every single time Logan went into his room he'd ask where his fish went. At least I had those bodies to show him and tell him they were sleeping. So, Monday Andrew cleaned it out, added new rocks, and bought a turtle! He is quite smitten. He LOVES this turtle. We're still looking for a name. It's a female turtle, so all I can come up with is Myrtle. :) I thought of Minnie, but when I asked Logan if he liked it, he thought I was putting Mickey on the TV for him. That's not going to work.
